Starting your journey(Read 1st)

It was a normal day at school/work. People yelling at you, telling you to pick up the slack. Yep, normal day. You hope to come home and relax, but before you get through the front door, you look down. You weren't sure why, but you did. Down there was a small envelope. You decide to pick it up, thinking someone just dropped it. You check the address, and it's addressed directly to yourself. Worried, you drop your stuff and open up the envelope as quickly as possible. It reads:

"Dear Human,
You recieved this letter to tell you something. Not everyone can hear about this. So we've chosen a few of you to learn about this. Keep this quiet, keep this letter safe."

In this time, you've grabbed your stuff, ran into your house, ran to your bed, and continued reading.

"...Everyone has an ability, a skill of some kind. It's something you'd believe that's like woodwork. What I'm talking about is a power that no other human can use. It's personal to each human. It's a phychic-like power, that varies to the person in use. If you'd like more information, look to your left. There is an address."

You chuckle at first, as if you don't think this would be funny. You turn your head, and laughter turns to shock, as a small business card floats there, with an address to an abandoned science lab. The letter dissappears, and grabbing the card, you run out the door to the place mentioned.

When you get in, you see no one around. Then you hear footsteps. A scientist is approaching you. Once he's in front of you, he speaks:

"Welcome. We've been expecting you, (your name)"

You respond, "What is all of this? What's going on?"

He lowers his head, but you can see a smile on his face "Heheheh...Only awakening you to what your true power is." He then pulls out a type of gun. You couldn't tell what kind, but he's about to pull the trigger on you. Then, a power is surging up inside you.
